Everyone has a price, and his just seems a little higher than one point six million dollars, and by a little I mean double of that first price. Miles is a very greedy person, not like the old scrooge greedy. Just his mind isn't where it wants to be unless a price is involved.

He once said that 80% of these people are lying about something, it even could be as simple as a name or even how you acquired some information.

He's lying about how he knew the sonar fence was turned off, or how he knew where their friends were buried. He's lying because at a young age it seemed he has acquired some special "talents". These consisted of seeing the dead, in a sense speaking to them as well. Rather he hears their last moments.

His mouth is the one thing that's gotten him less privileges than the rest of his Kahana crew-mates. Out of all the people he's run into it could be Lock that probably scared him the most by putting an active grenade in his mouth and pulling the pin out of it.

Jack : Why don't you put the guns down?
Miles : And why would I do that?
Jack : Because our friends are out in the jungle with a gun pointed at your head, and his head!
Miles: How stupid do you think I am?
Jack: I don't know Miles, how stupid are you?
